Problem and Challenges

In the beginning we used to get MS Excel file for translation and proofreading. So maintaining those files in serial order of their respective language for translation and proofreading separately was a sort of challenge.

To prepare translator and proofreaders list with experience in IT domain in their respective languages. Later on the task was shifted to Memosource so to restart the whole process in Memosource, we needed to train our resources who worked on offline files. 

Dynamic and frequently changing glossaries, Indexes and Client’s instruction.

Time zone of the client, Linguidoor and all the translators and proofreaders working on this project..

Solution

Dedicated projects team was allotted the task to work 24*7 for Huami.

A daytime was invested to choose  the best resources amongst the pool for translation and proofreading of respective language with experience in IT domain. Onboarding of all the linguists was done along with duly signed NDAs and Supplier agreements separately.

An online training was provided to the translators and proofreaders in order to understand the glossaries and Client instructions.

Futhermore for Memsource also online training was provided.
